Patience is a virtue

As Barney Curley showed us all earlier this week, patience is a virtue when it comes to placing a winner. I've been waiting for this one to run since December when it did not cope with the heavy going at Wincanton on 3rd December, nor the soft on 26th December. Today's Good-to-Firm going will be just right and the break should have done SKIPPERS LAD a deal of good. There's not much to oppose him in this as they are either past their best or have stamina to prove. So long as SKIPPERS LAD is fit to do himself justice then we should have a result. Currently best-priced at 11/2 (Blue Sq and 888) and 5's generally, there's a non-runner so only 8 go to post.

Selection: SKIPPER LAD @ 11/2 - Exeter 3:20
